Sun Engineering was awarded the contract to do the detailing, fabrication and construction of an over-road pedestrian bridge over the Ipswich Highway at Tessman St. This project included 96 tonnes of steelwork including the bridge structure, walkways, handrails and guarding. The bridge was erected in sections over a new 6-lane highway. Steel was fabricated in the Carole Park workshop and transported to the site. The bridge was lifted into place and the roof was assembled on site.
