Sun Engineering offers our clients a ‘one stop’ mechanical fabrication and construction capability with superior welding capability and modular construction up to two thousand tons per module. Sun Engineering has experience in fuels, Hydrocarbons, Live steam, Caustics, and critical Chemical lines. We have also produced an extensive range of fired and unfired pressure vessels, condensers, heat exchangers and super heaters. A considerable number of our projects have included substantial kilometers of pipe racking, large process vessels and exotic steels.
Storage Facilities
Sun Engineering has been building process tanks for over 32 years, primarily to API 650 and API 620, with welding to both Australian and American Standards we have built vessels up to 50 meters in diameter and 60 meters high, in both Carbon and Stainless steel. Sun Engineering has developed safety techniques which ensure our tanks are built safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
In Australia and Papua New Guinea, we have a large array of tank construction equipment including scaffold and automated welding processes, supported by a large crew of tank fabricators and welders. To date we have delivered storage facility packages to Exxon Mobil, Total Energy, Puma, Interoil, BP, Ampol and Pacific Aviation limited within the Oil & Gas industry.
