Sun Engineering were contracted to Abbot Point for the supply and installation of the 2000-tonne coal load-out surge bin. The bin sections were pre-fabricated offsite at our QLD workshop, in the largest transportable sizes and delivered to the site for further assembly at ground level and completion in situ due to crane capacity restrictions.

Construction of a new Coal Rail Dump Station including out loading conveyors, we were required to remove the existing mechanical and electrical equipment, conveyors and dump hoppers and manufacture new conveyors, dump hoppers and reinstall new mechanical equipment so as to upgrade the capacity of the coal terminal.
