Sun Engineering were awarded the contract to complete the detailing, fabrication and construction of the crown atop the iconic Q1 high-rise resort on the Gold Coast. The structure, weighing 250 tonnes, was lifted and assembled at the top of the 323-metre residential building.
The residential tower on the Gold Coast was the world’s tallest residential building from 2005 to 2011 and the landmark building was recognised as one of Queensland’s icons during the state’s 150th birthday celebrations.
