Sun Engineering delivered stage 2 & 3 of the Ravenswood gold mine expansion near Townsville in Qld, completed in late 2022. The project consisted of a new three-stage crushing circuit, capable of handling up to 12Mt/y, with beneficiation capabilities to produce fine crushed ore at 7.1Mt/y; and the addition of another three leach tanks as well as associated equipment and infrastructure to enable operation at 7.1Mt through the grinding circuit and wet plant circuits.
